Radiology
The new Radiology Department offers
more space and enhanced services utilizing the latest in imaging
equipment. Diagnostic images are obtained using conventional x-ray
equipment, digital fluoroscopy, mammography (for early detection of
breast cancer), ultrasound (a special imaging technique using sound
waves), Helical CT scanning (providing faster cross-sectional imaging
of the head and body), and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). The
department is under the medical direction of a board certified
radiologist.
