The Cardiovascular Diagnostic Unit is
equipped to perform various cardiac diagnostic testing procedures,
such as the stress test, echocardiogram, ambulatory electrocardiogram
(Holter), electrocardiogram (EKG), nuclear cardiology studies, carotid
artery duplex, lower extremity arterial, and venous color duplex
sonography, etc. These tests aid your physician in diagnosing heart
and circulatory problems. The CDU is under the medical direction of a
cardiologist, a physician skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of
cardiovascular disease.
