New OB/GYN for CSCH

Centra Southside Community Hospital is pleased to announce that Dr. Judith L. Chantelois will be joining the Centra Southside Women’s Specialists July 6, 2009. Dr. Chantelois is a highly skilled gynecologist with over 25 years of experience, serving in the Army in the United States and Korea. Her office will be located on the campus of CSCH.

Dr. Chantelois is a graduate of Marquette University and The Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. In addition, Dr. Chancellors completed a residency in General Public Health at the Madigan Army Medical Center at Fort Lewis in Tacoma, Washington.

Dr. Chantelois is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the Medical Corps. She was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa at Marquette University. Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, her professional areas of interest/emphasis are Menopausal Medicine, Adolescent Gynecology, Cervical Dysplasia/Colposcopy and Obstetrics.
