Cardiovascular Group Holds Open House in Farmville

The Cardiovascular Group of Centra Stroobants Heart Center and Centra Southside Community Hospital hosted an Open House to announce the grand opening of their Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation program. This new addition is located adjacent to the current cardiology office. In addition to the new rehabilitation program, the cardiology office also underwent an extensive renovation and expansion.
Along with Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, board certified cardiologists, Girish Purhoit, M.D, Christopher Lewis, M.D., Justin Anderson, M.D., Brian Schietinger, M.D., Ronald Morford, M.D, Fadi El-Ahdab, M.D., and Beth Poore-Bowman, FNP-BC offer a range of cardiovascular services, while most of them also specialize in specific cardiac diagnostics and treatments.
The practice welcomed local chamber members and the community to tour and learn more about the various cardiovascular services offered at the practice. Centra Stroobants Heart Center is nationally recognized as one of the best heart centers in the country. They save lives by routinely treating heart attacks 30 minutes faster than the national average.
In addition to the Farmville office, The Cardiovascular Group sees patients and does testing in Centra Southside Community Hospital and has practices in Bedford, Gretna, Moneta and Lynchburg.
